Volleyball Recap: Seaforth Extends Winning Streak to Three

With a playoff win on the line, Seaforth rose to the challenge on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Jordan-Matthews Jets as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Hawks, who have now won three contests in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Seaforth took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-13, 25-10.

Seaforth found their leader in sophomore Kleber Corzo, who had 18 assists and five digs. Corzo is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last eight games he's played.

Seaforth was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matchups.

Seaforth's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Jordan-Matthews, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

As of now, neither Seaforth nor the Jets have any future games scheduled.
