Softball Recap: Pace Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Pace couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the McAllen Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Friday. It was the first time this season that the Vikings let down their fans at home.

Pace saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was America Delgado, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Pace's loss dropped their record down to 28-2-1. As for McAllen, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-12-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Pace nor McAllen have any future games scheduled.
