Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marathon). They secured a 69-65 W over the Phillips Loggers on Friday. This was payback for the Red Raiders, who suffered a 72-28 loss the last time these two teams met.

Marathon has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Phillips, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marathon will challenge Spencer at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Phillips, they will square off against Rib Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
