Volleyball Recap: Westlake Christian Academy Victorious

The Westlake Christian Academy Eagles earned a 2-0 win over the Northlands R Royals on Thursday.

Westlake Christian Academy easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14.

Their offense was headlined by Madeline Levandowski and Brianna Edinger, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Lexi Cook and her five assists. Addisyn Nieze controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Westlake Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Westlake Christian Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against HomeSchool Resource Center at 5:30 p.m. on September 5. Northlands R will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' game: after the Eagles face off against Harvest Christian Academy, they'll take on Northlands R again at 6:30 p.m. on October 6.
