Volleyball Recap: Sparks Comes Up Short

Sparks lost against Fernley back in August of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Railroaders lost 3-0 to the Vaqueros.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-9, 25-10.

Sparks' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Fernley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Sparks and Elko will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Railroaders are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Fernley, they will take on Incline at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
