Recap: Bulloch Academy Gators vs. Brookstone Cougars
The Bulloch Academy Gators and the Brookstone Cougars squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Bulloch Academy Gators had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 24-22. Bulloch Academy's loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.
Bulloch Academy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ben Aaron, who rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Brookstone found their leader in underclassman Gray Jones, who gained 123 total yards and two touchdowns.
Bulloch Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-1. As for Brookstone, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.
Bulloch Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Brookstone will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against First Presbyterian Day at 8:00 p.m. on December 1st. First Presbyterian Day is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
