Softball Recap: Paraclete Wins Going Away Against St. Anthony

While Paraclete put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for St. Anthony. The Spirits were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Saints. The result was nothing new for the Spirits, who have now won 13 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Paraclete and bumps their season record up to 19-2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for St. Anthony, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paraclete will challenge California City at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Anthony, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bishop Amat at 3:30 p.m. on May 1.
