Vandegrift has gone a perfect 9-0 against McNeil recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Vandegrift Vipers will head out on the road to square off against the McNeil Mavericks at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Vandegrift's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Vista Ridge. That's two games straight that the Vipers have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, McNeil made sure to put some goals up on the board against Stony Point on Friday. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 4-2. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Mavericks' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Vandegrift has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those ten games. The win got McNeil back to even at 7-7.

Vandegrift took their victory against McNeil when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Vandegrift since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
