Chestnut Ridge came tearing into Wednesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Richland Rams 9-3. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 6-2. As for Richland, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Coming up, Chestnut Ridge will take on Central Cambria at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richland, they will face off against Greater Johnstown at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
