Volleyball Game Preview: Marshall Barristers vs. Taft Toreadors

Marshall hasn't had much luck against Taft recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Barristers will head out on the road to take on the Toreadors at 7:00 p.m. Marshall is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

On Wednesday, Marshall made easy work of Lincoln and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Marshall was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Taft didn't have quite enough to beat El Camino Real on Wednesday and fell 3-2.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Taft sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-22, 22-25, 25-21, 19-25, 15-13.

Taft's defeat dropped their record down to 33-13. As for Marshall, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.
