There's no place like home for Trinity, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Anderson Cubs with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The Wolves were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Cubs, so the Wolves were just returning the favor.

While Trinity won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 26-24, 25-17.

Anna Bunce paced Trinity's offense, picking up six kills. Bunce got some help from Claire Cox and her eight assists. Braelyn Nugent controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Trinity now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Anderson, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Trinity will face off against Redding Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Anderson, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against CORE Butte at 6:30 p.m.
