Football Game Recap: Friona vs. Tulia

After a disappointing 0 points in their last matchup, Friona made sure to put some points up on the board against Tulia on Friday. Friona was the clear victor by a 42-14 margin over Tulia. For the Chieftans, this is just revenge for the 44-13 defeat they suffered against the Hornets the last time they faced one another Nov. 2.

The win bumped Friona's record up to 7-2. This is the second loss in a row for the Hornets and nudges their record down to 5-6.

The Chieftans will take on Dimmitt at 7 p.m. ET on Friday. The Chieftans don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. As for Tulia, they will face off against Childress at 7 p.m. ET. Tulia is at home for the game, a silver lining they hope will compensate for their disadvantage in the MaxPreps.
