Volleyball Recap: McIntosh County Academy Takes a Loss

McIntosh County Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Toombs County Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buccaneers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16.

McIntosh County Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Toombs County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-7.

Coincidentally, McIntosh County Academy and Toombs County will both be playing Vidalia the next time they take the court. The Buccaneers will host the Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
