Grace Academy will face off against the Williamson County HomeSchool Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Grace Academy barely beat CenTex HomeSchool the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Grace Academy took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 64-34 victory over CenTex HomeSchool. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Grace Academy had established a 28-point advantage.
Grace Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Bridger Maxwell picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Williamson County HomeSchool won against CenTex HomeSchool last Friday with 62 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Williamson County HomeSchool claimed a resounding 62-16 win over Valor South Austin. The victory was familiar territory for Williamson County HomeSchool, who have now won three games in a row.
Williamson County HomeSchool's win came from a few key players Grace Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Thomas Cantey, who threw for 256 yards and six TDs while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Williamson County HomeSchool's leading receiver Luke Currie was Cantey's top target yet again, picking up 109 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Thankfully for Grace Academy, Ethan Slusher (who rushed for 250 yards and four TDs while picking up 12.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 128 yards and a pair of touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time.
