Softball Recap: Trinity Hall Takes a Loss

It was a good run, but Trinity Hall unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against the Liberty Lions, falling 16-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Liberty this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 back in April.

Rylee Desiderato made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Helen Taylor, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Trinity Hall's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Liberty, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Coming up, Trinity Hall will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty, they will square off against Barnegat at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
