Basketball Recap: Mitchell Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mitchell was the 77-62 winner over Fivay when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 56-55 to the Falcons. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tristan Woodroof and Zack Harrington certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Woodroof went 6-for-10 to rack up 15 points, while Harrington dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds. Harrington is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last three games he's played. John Golden also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Joell Morales went supernova For Fivay., shooting 47% from the field on his way to 20 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Those 20 points gave Morales a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kengel Torres, who went 5-for-8 en route to 14 points.

Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Fivay, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-3.

Mitchell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 51-49 win against Cypress Creek on the 5th. As for Fivay, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 78-61 loss against Land O' Lakes on the 5th.
