The Hamilton Southeastern Royals will head out to take on the Zionsville Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Hamilton Southeastern took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Carmel, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Royals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Greyhounds on Monday, sneaking past 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Royals as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Hamilton Southeastern got a great performance from Dylan Cope as he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Cope has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
