Baseball Recap: Brandon/Evansville's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Brandon/Evansville waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets 14-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 on Tuesday.

Brandon/Evansville pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Brandon/Evansville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 19-10 win against Hancock on the 2nd. As for Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sebeka at 4:00 a.m. on the 15th.
