The Palmer Trinity Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Keys Gate Knights at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Palmer Trinity is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.

Palmer Trinity is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Monsignor Pace just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 16-6 to the Spartans. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Meanwhile, Keys Gate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Southridge.

Keys Gate's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Palmer Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Keys Gate's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Palmer Trinity has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .464. It's a different story for Keys Gate, though, as they've only averaged .361. Will they be able to contain Palmer Trinity's hitters?

Palmer Trinity was able to grind out a solid win over Keys Gate in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 12-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for Palmer Trinity since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
