Volleyball Recap: Chadron's Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over

Chadron came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Rapid City Christian Comets, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cardinals have suffered since September 25th.

While Chadron ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 25-21.

Jezy Alcorn paced Chadron's offense, picking up eight kills. Alcorn got some help from Jenny Pinnt and her 22 assists.

Chadron moved to 14-11 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak. As for Rapid City Christian, they pushed their record up to 22-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Chadron will face off against Scottsbluff at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rapid City Christian, they will head out to challenge Lead-Deadwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
