Lake Region had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Victory Christian Academy Storm with a sharp 17-1 win. That's the first time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 17-1 win on Wednesday.

Josh Jenkins was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jomar Caceres, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
