It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mountain View can now relate to. They fell just short of the Nuview Bridge Knights by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Vikings' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

ALEX MORENO spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on seven hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, LUKE DAVILA made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Nuview Bridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-10 record this season.
