Volleyball Recap: West Clermont Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

West Clermont can bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Turpin Spartans.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 22-25, 25-22.

Trent Cottrell paced West Clermont's offense, picking up 13 kills. Cottrell got some help from Jordan Michael Pack and his 25 assists. Gabe Cochran controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

West Clermont's win bumped their record up to 2-12. As for Turpin, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Clermont will challenge rival Kings at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Turpin is set to square off against their familiar foe Loveland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
