Basketball Recap: Pleasant Grove Spartans vs. Indian Springs Student

Pleasant Grove was the 55-44 winner over Indian Springs when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Pleasant Grove Spartans were just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 44-43 to the Indian Springs Student. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pleasant Grove lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Eithen Everson, who posted six points and eight boards. Dj Phillips was another key player, putting up six points.

It was another big night for Dylan Heald, who had 23 points for Indian Springs. That makes it three consecutive games in which Heald has scored at least a third of Indian Springs' points. Another player making a difference was Long Truong, who scored six points and eight rebounds.
