North Creek waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Lake Washington Kangaroos get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Three seems to be a good number for the Jaguars as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

North Creek got a great performance from Jack Cochran as he didn't allow a single earned run over 5.2 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, North Creek's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Swallom, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

North Creek pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lake Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.

Coming up, North Creek will square off against Issaquah at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake Washington, they will take on Bothell at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Kangaroos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
