After flying high against Capital last Friday, Helena came back down to earth. The Helena Bengals were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 74-73 to the Butte Bulldogs. The Bengals' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Helena's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-2. As for Butte, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Helena will face off against Big Sky at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Helena's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups. As for Butte, they will take on Capital at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Butte will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
