Softball Recap: North Valleys Panthers vs. South Tahoe Vikings
North Valleys not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 27, 2024. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the South Tahoe Vikings. With that win, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Maddie Rebell made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. What's more, she gave up only zero hits, the fewest she's had since back in March of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, Caylee Soap was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. Lillian Hall was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
