Basketball Game Preview: Richard Montgomery Rockets vs. Churchill Bulldogs

The Richard Montgomery Rockets will challenge the Churchill Bulldogs on Tuesday. Richard Montgomery will be strutting in after a victory while Churchill will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Friday, Richard Montgomery didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Kennedy, but they still walked away with a 49-44 win. The 49-point effort marked the Rockets' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Churchill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Poolesville.

Richard Montgomery's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Churchill, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Richard Montgomery won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, slipping by Churchill 74-73. Will Richard Montgomery repeat their success, or does Churchill have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
