Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Puckett). They claimed a resounding 81-29 win over the Mississippi School for the Deaf Bulldogs. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Mississippi School for the Deaf saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Chyler Thomas posted 13 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Puckett and bumps their season record up to 9-4. As for Mississippi School for the Deaf, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Puckett will be home for the holidays to greet Raleigh at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mississippi School for the Deaf, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Taylorsville at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
