Volleyball Recap: Coffee County Central's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If Coffee County Central was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lincoln County on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The loss put an end to the Red Raiders' undefeated start to the season.

Coffee County Central took Warren County into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 22-25, 22-25, 15-7.

Having lost for the first time this season, Coffee County Central fell to 3-1. As for Warren County, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Coffee County Central will square off against Oakland at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Warren County, they are taking a road trip to face off against LaVergne at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
