Soccer Recap: Coalinga Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

Coalinga kept a clean sheet against Rosamond on Thursday. They rang in the new year with a 2-0 win over the Rosamond Roadrunners. The Horned Toads have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Roadrunners, too.

Ernesto Villanueva Rodriguez and Andy Jimenez scored both of Coalinga's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Coalinga has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those seven games. As for Rosamond, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-6-1 record.
