Payette dropped their record down to 7-12 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 17-1 to the Weiser Wolverines. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Pirates couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Weiser, their record now sits at 14-5. Considering they have won 13 matches by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Weiser's part, the team relied heavily on Ellie Shirts, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, four runs, and three doubles. Those three doubles gave Shirts a new career-high. Jessica Waite also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

As of now, neither Payette nor Weiser have any future games scheduled.
