Volleyball Game Preview: Willow Canyon Wildcats vs. Centennial Coyotes

Willow Canyon is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will venture away from home to take on the Centennial Coyotes at 6:00 p.m.

Willow Canyon's tournament run continued when they took on Desert Vista on Saturday. Willow Canyon fell 2-0 to Desert Vista.

Meanwhile, Centennial faced McClintock in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Centennial put the hurt on McClintock with a sharp 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Coyotes sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Centennial never let McClintock on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-23.

Willow Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Willow Canyon came out on top in a nail-biter against Centennial in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will Willow Canyon repeat their success, or does Centennial has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
