Basketball Recap: Jackson Christian Finds Home Court Redemption Against Fayette Academy

There's no place like home for Jackson Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They took down the Fayette Academy Vikings 60-43 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Clay Anderson, who posted 11 points and six boards. Kahne Dozier was another key player, putting up six points and five rebounds.

Jackson Christian's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Fayette Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-8.

Jackson Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against University School of Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fayette Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Carroll Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Fayette Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season.
