The McKenzie Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Mapleton, falling 54-21. McKenzie has struggled against Mapleton recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Thomas Hayes was McKenzie's leading scorer, having posted six points.
Rhys Hamlow held things down on the boards with six rebounds.
McKenzie has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 13 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-19 record this season. As for Mapleton, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 20-2.
