League recap: Sherwood's Rodriguez delivers best pitching performance from past week

Montgomery County 4A - North's top pitcher this week was
Tyler Rodriguez. He won one game and struck out eight batters.
Matthew Chanin was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .714 average with two RBIs.
Sherwood compiled a record of 1-1 in that time.
The Warriors' pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 14 hits and 10 walks to lead the league in both categories. Sherwood has given up a mere 75 hits on the year in addition to compiling 87 strikeouts.
Patrick Kemper is the leader in that category with 25 Ks on the season.
