On Friday fans watched as two of the best teams in the nation hit the court. The Tri-Cities Bulldogs took a 76-71 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Davidson Day Patriots.

Tri-Cities lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jalan Wingfield, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. The game was Wingfield's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre Keith, who went 7 for 15 en route to 15 points plus seven assists.

Even though they lost, Tri-Cities smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January.

Tri-Cities' loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Davidson Day, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Tri-Cities didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-65 win against Jonesboro on the 30th. Davidson Day has also already played their next match, a 62-40 defeat against Wasatch Academy on the 30th.
