Cactus Shadows is 8-1 against Saguaro since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cactus Shadows Falcons will venture away from home to face off against the Saguaro Sabercats at 7:00 p.m.

Cactus Shadows is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Mesquite on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Cactus Shadows was dealt an 89-21 defeat at the hands of Mesquite. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-15.

Meanwhile, Saguaro waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Knights 69-53. The score was all tied up 33-33 at the break, but the Sabercats were the better team in the second half.

Cactus Shadows' loss dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Saguaro, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Cactus Shadows came out on top in a nail-biter against Saguaro in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 48-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cactus Shadows since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
