Baseball Game Preview: Coupeville Wolves vs. Friday Harbor Wolverines

For the second straight game, Coupeville will face off against Friday Harbor. Coupeville will take on Friday Harbor at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coupeville's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four contests, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Coupeville fell victim to Friday Harbor and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wolverines, falling 10-0.

For Friday Harbor's part, Triston Bremer looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mason Smith, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcos Soto, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Coupeville's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Friday Harbor, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
