Softball Recap: Kearny Comes Up Short

Kearny was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-10 to the Union City Soaring Eagles. The Kardinals were not able to make up for their loss to the Soaring Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Kearny's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Union City, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Kearny will square off against Memorial at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Union City, they will venture away from home to take on McNair Academic at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
