Volleyball Recap: Northwest Mounties vs. Western Panthers
Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Western Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mounties of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on October 9th.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14.
Morgan Brooks paced Northwest's offense, picking up five kills. Brooks got some help from
Brooke Grant and her 11 assists.
Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 13-24-3. As for Western, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 26-12-3 record this season.
