Volleyball Recap: Houston Math Science & Tech Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Houston Math Science & Tech unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Austin Mustangs on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Houston Math Science & Tech took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-18, 25-19.

Houston Math Science & Tech wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Sterling on the 15th. As for Austin, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Carnegie Vanguard at 5:00 p.m. on the 26th.
