Basketball Game Preview: Ichabod Crane Riders vs. Stillwater Warriors

The Ichabod Crane Riders will take on the Stillwater Warriors in a tournament on Saturday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Ichabod Crane is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Catholic Central on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Ichabod Crane was dealt a 99-64 defeat at the hands of Catholic Central. The loss continues a trend for the Riders in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Stillwater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 62-45 to Red Hook.

Ichabod Crane's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Stillwater, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Ichabod Crane took their victory against Stillwater in their previous matchup back in November of 2022 by a conclusive 64-40. Will Ichabod Crane repeat their success, or does Stillwater have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
