Basketball Recap: Brownstown Extends Winning Streak to 14

Brownstown extended their winning streak to 14 games thanks to a huge performance from Dayana Haslett. The Brownstown Bombers claimed a resounding 51-20 victory over the Altamont Indians thanks in part to Haslett, who posted 29 points. Her evening made it 13 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Brownstown's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.4 points. As for Altamont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Brownstown will challenge Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Brownstown is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.5 points per game this season. As for Altamont, they will square off against Tuscola at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tuscola will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Altamont surely won't give up without a fight.
