Latin kept a clean sheet against Francis W. Parker on Saturday. They skirted past the Colonels 1-0. Even though Latin got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Nicholas Conroy was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Latin's one-goal win came courtesy of Theo Davenport, who's now up to three this season.

Latin's victory bumped their record up to 4-5-2. As for Francis W. Parker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Latin will venture away from home to square off against Lincoln Park at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln Park's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Francis W. Parker, they will head out to challenge Lycee Francais de Chicago at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
