With a playoff win on the line, Spring Garden rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Jacksonville Christian Academy Thunder 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Thunder back in September, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

While Spring Garden won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-23, 25-21.

Jacksonville Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addy Lee, who had 12 digs, six kills, and four blocks. Lee has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Williams, who had 14 digs and two aces.

With the victory, Spring Garden broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 11-14. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, their loss ended an 11-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 16-8.

Spring Garden has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Faith Christian on the 14th. Jacksonville Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
