Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mt. Carmel). They enjoyed a cozy 69-51 win over the Grayville Bison on Monday. The Golden Aces haven't had any issues with the Bison recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Grayville's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jake Hosman, who posted 21 points and eight rebounds, and Zach Leavens, who put up 16 points. Leavens' evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Mt. Carmel's win bumped their record up to 8-21. As for Grayville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-18 record this season.
