Softball Recap: Roy Comes Up Short

Roy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bountiful RedHawks, falling 14-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Royals of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Roy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bountiful, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Roy will take on Viewmont at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bountiful, they will square off against West Field at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bountiful's pitchers better be ready for this one: West Field has averaged an impressive 12.2 runs per game this season.
