Volleyball Recap: Texas School for the Deaf Comes Up Short

Texas School for the Deaf lost against Hill Country Christian back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rangers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams.

Melanie Rubinshteyn paced Texas School for the Deaf's offense, picking up seven kills. Rubinshteyn got some help from Kaelyn Sluyter-Coffey and her 13 assists. Madison Garrison controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Texas School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Hill Country Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season.

Texas School for the Deaf has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Veritas Academy on the 22nd. As for Hill Country Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Regents on the 23rd.
