Volleyball Recap: Appleton North Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Muskego

Appleton North faced Muskego in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Lightning fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1.

NATHAN RAMUS paced Appleton North's offense, picking up 20 kills. RAMUS got some help from SPENCER MUNSON and his 21 assists. MUNSON was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Appleton North's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Muskego, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
